We harvest our haskaps on our family farm, so we look at these fruits as our little babies. These have a unique, complex taste, often compared to blackcurrant, blueberry and raspberry. Some people also pick up a hint of blackberry, nectarine, plum and rhubarb. Fresh or processed, haskap has some truly unique flavors that can vary from one cultivar to the next. Their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory powers are breaking records: they contain two to three times more antioxidants than blueberries, more vitamin C than oranges, and are even packed with vitamin A and very rich in calcium.
